We are currently recruiting for Claims Handlers to join our expanding team.


What you will be doing:

·         Managing a portfolio of personal lines motor claims from cradle to grave

·         Proactively identifying key information required to progress a claim to conclusion

·         Accurately setting and maintaining reserves for the claims under your control

·         Identifying suspected fraudulent claims

·         Settling allocated claims efficiently whilst demonstrating a dedication to controlling costs and leakage

·         Delivering excellent customer service

·         Supporting the continuous development of our claims processes

·         Providing feedback on the performance/utilisation of our claims handling system


What we need from you:

·         To have full end to end claims handling experience

·         A thorough working knowledge of 1st and 3rd party claims processes

·         Excellent negotiation skills, capable of influencing the opinions of customers and fellow professionals through all communication channels

·         To be commercially aware of the right claim outcomes

·         To be creative in your approach to achieve the best claim outcome for the business and the customer

·         A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to proactively manage workload and prioritise tasks

·         To be open and trustworthy
